Well we did it!
We had our first meeting. How did it go?
From my point of view it was great. We had 21 Explorers turn up on the night and 4 leaders. We are expecting more Explorers
for the next meeting and we are going from strength to strength. We had a lot to get through and lots to take in but all
the Explorers sat and took it all in (WOW).
We have decided to paint the new HQ and there were some cool ideas and some not so cool but we did decide on a scheme
and we will all be coverd in paint by 9pm on Thursday.
Mike Jones (District D of E Advisor) was at the meeting and will be attending for the next 4 weeks so we can get the Explorers
started with the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
We have so many ideas and the Explorers have lots of hard work ahead and lots of fun in the process.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the leaders and District members for all their help without which
I would not have been able to get the West Wirral Explorers off the ground. Thank you all and lets look forward to having
the best Explorer Unit in the County
